WHAT TO EXPECT
Your child doesn’t need a group of experienced skaters to have a skateboarding party. Complete beginners are welcome, and mixed experience levels are no problem.
We’ll adapt the session to the group, helping beginners get comfortable on a board while giving more experienced skaters the chance to work on new skills and tricks. We’ll also mix in games and challenges to keep everyone involved and having fun.
For larger groups, we’ll bring additional coaches so every child gets the support they need.
HOW IT WORKS
-
1. CHOOSE YOUR PARTY
Pick between a party at a local skatepark or having us bring the skate setup to you, then choose between a 60-minute or 2-hour session.
-
2. SEND US THE DETAILS
Tell us your preferred date, location, number of children and their experience levels. If we’re coming to you, we’ll also confirm that your space is suitable.
-
3. WE’LL ORGANISE THE REST
We’ll confirm availability, organise the coaches and equipment needed for your group and send you everything you need to know before the day.
FAQs
Do the kids need to know how to skateboard?
Not at all. Complete beginners are welcome. We’ll adapt the session to the experience level of each child, so beginners and more experienced skaters can enjoy the same party.
Do we need to bring our own skateboards and protective gear?
No. We can provide skateboards and protective gear for children who need them. Kids are also welcome to bring their own equipment if they prefer.
How many children can attend?
Our standard party pricing includes up to 10 children, but larger groups are welcome. Additional children can be added for a per-child fee, and we’ll bring additional coaches where needed.
Where can we have a skatepark party?
Skatepark parties can be held at an agreed suitable skatepark. Let us know your preferred area when you enquire and we can discuss the best option for your group.
What space do I need for the “We Bring the Skatepark to You” option?
You’ll need a suitable flat, hard-surface area for skateboarding, generally at least 5 × 5 metres, with the exact size depending on the number of children. We’ll ask for some information about the space before confirming your booking to make sure it’s suitable for the session.
Can you come to a venue rather than our home?
Yes. If you have another private venue with a suitable skating area and permission to use it for the session, let us know when you enquire and we can confirm whether it will work.
Can children with different experience levels participate together?
Absolutely. Sessions are adapted to the individual skaters, so we can work with complete beginners and more experienced children within the same group.
Where can we have a skatepark party?
Our skatepark parties are primarily available at Meadowbank, St Ives, Blackman Park and Federal Skatepark. Have another skatepark in mind? Let us know when you enquire and we’ll see if we can make it work.
What happens if it rains?
Skateboarding needs a safe, dry surface, so we won’t run a party in unsuitable wet conditions. If your party can’t go ahead due to rain, you can either reschedule to another available date or receive a refund for the service.
